After a thrilling night of tough competition, I am thrilled to announce that I won my first Moth GrandSlam! Honestly, when they announced me as the winner, I wasn’t sure I had heard correctly. There were a lot of hilarious and touching stories from some veteran Moth storytellers, and I’m honored that I got to participate. Writing this story was some of the most difficult writing I’ve ever done, and also some of the most gratifying.
